Mission of the Colville Chamber of Commerce: Provide leadership to stimulate, promote and support economic vitality, tourism, communication, education and community pride in the greater Colville, Washington area.
Chamber Luncheon Meetings: Everyone is invited to attend Chamber Meetings held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at noon at the Eagles Lodge on North Wynne Street. It is a no-host lunch with a speaker or program for each meeting. We try to publicize these meetings in advance so everyone can make plans to attend. If you would like to make a presentation of interest to the community or know of someone who has a project or information to get out to the public, call the Chamber office at (509) 684-5973 and we will schedule you for a Tuesday Luncheon. We do a 50/50 drawing at lunch, your 50 is distributed to a nonprofit. Remember to bring your dollars.

Tomorrow, Tuesday April 9! The Chamber monthly meeting luncheon is tomorrow at noon at the Eagles Lodge on North Wynne Street. It is a no-host lunch with guest speaker K.S. Brooks. She will be sharing with members how to successfully write press releases and event announcements that news media will be happy to receive! She will share the common mistakes that make newspapers and others not want to work with people, and show you how to make them glad to see your email in their inboxes. K.S. Brooks has been writing for newspapers in Stevens County for seven years now and currently works for the Chewelah Independent and the Silverado Express newspapers. She is an award-winning author of over 30 published works and her newspaper works have been recognized multiple times by the Washington Newspaper Publishing Association. Join us for lunch, everyone is welcome to attend.
Colville Chamber of Commerce Roger McMillan Memorial Open Golf Tournament: May 17, 1 pm Dominion Meadows Golf Course. Teams are forming now. Applications will mail soon to last year's teams, download the application and rules of play online at colvillechamberofcommerce.com or pick up an application at Colville Chamber of Commerce, 986 South Main, Colville, Wa. This year our long-time tournament will be held as a memorial for Roger McMillan. Join the golfers and have a chance to experience competition and challenges on the course. Arden 2nd Hand Store Colville Chamber of Commerce
Arden Second-Hand Store, the old school cool store, is packed with many interesting and unique items! There are hundreds of different beautiful pieces of wall art, tools of all kinds, vintage clothing, furniture, kitchen items and so much more. The store has recently acquired estates including some unique pieces of furniture. If you are into Victorian style furniture, they have a beautiful parlor set, including a platform rocker, a chair and settee. They also have some Stiffel lamps and waterfall style cedar chests. Colville Community Senior Center: Is hosting luncheon meals every Tuesday and Thursday at 12 noon which are open to the public. The cost is $7 per meal for members and $8 for non-members. Special holiday meals are $10.00 for non-members. Please call before noon on Mondays to reserve your seats: 509-675-1479, or e-mail [email protected]. Activities include card games, bingo, birthday celebrations, speakers, craft days, and other events. Membership is open to anyone 50 years and older. As a nonprofit, Vitalant relies on volunteer blood drive coordinators and donors to meet the medical needs of local patients. As you may have seen in the news lately, we are in critical need of blood donations. Every blood donation has the potential to save 3 lives.

The Libraries of Stevens County Board of Trustees will hold their April meeting at the Lakeside Library on Thursday, April 18th at 10 a.m. The Lakeside Library is located at 5919 Hwy 291, Ste 2, Nine Mile Falls, WA, 99026. As always, the meeting is open to the public and comments are welcomed. WorkSource Colville: We are here to serve businesses and job seekers in Stevens, Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Lincoln Counties. Our services include the WorkSource WA job board, where businesses can create an employer account, post jobs, and view resumes that match their job description. If businesses would like their open positions featured on our WorkSource Colville Facebook page , please let us know. We also offer assistance with On-the-Job Training , where newly hired, qualified applicants could be eligible for 50 percent reimbursement of their wages to their new employer during the training period. A contract must be in place before the first day of employment. We also have information on the Work Opportunity Tax Credit if businesses hire individuals from certain populations. Zaddy’s Doll Club/Tea, April 13th from 10 am to Noon: Shirley is a seasoned Doll Club Member and is the facilitator of our Club. Lonna is the host of the Tea Party for the Doll Club. The theme for April’s club is still being determined. We will announce it as soon as it is determined. The cost for the Doll Club/Tea is FREE; however, RSVP is still required by 5pm Monday, April 8th so that Lonna will know how many settings for the Tea Party are required.
Zaddy’s Vendor Day Saturday, April 27th 9 am to 3 pm: Vendor Day is open for anyone who would like to have a place to sell their creations. The Cost is $20 for a small table and $30 for a large table, plus 5% of final sales. No license is required to sell, as ALL sales go through Zaddy’s register, where sales tax will be collected, and Vendors will be paid (minus 5% of sales) at the end of the day.
If you are interested in selling on Vendor Day and have a unique item, please contact us. We are currently looking for someone who has tools (new or used that are in good condition) that they would like to sell.
Crochet Workshop: Are you interested in learning how to Crochet? We currently have several Workshops open for April. These are 5-Day Workshops, and the cost is $125 for the 5-day Workshop.
